Gospel Male Chorus of Southeast Texas (GMCSETX) was established in 1995 by the dedicated members of the Eastern Star Male Chorus in Port Arthur, Texas. Since its inception, the GMCSETX has enjoyed remarkable success year after year, bringing together brothers and scholarship applicants from a wide range of churches across Southeast Texas, with participants even joining from as far away as California.

 

Each December, the chorus hosts inspiring ten-night workshop where members learn new songs to perform in a dynamic and soul-stirring gospel concert, along with a scholarship program held on the Sunday before Christmas. High school youth are welcomed to participate free of charge, as their registration fees are generously covered by supportive sponsors
